Lee-Anne has always had an interest in art and design, but it wasn’t until adulthood that they began studying graphic design part time. They studied at HNC and HND level whilst working as a teaching assistant in a secondary school. A graduate of the University for the Creative Arts, Lee-Anne was employed as university’s in-house graphic designer before deciding to spread their wings and go it alone.
Lee-Anne was awarded a YCN Student Award (2016) for their work on a brief for the Marine Stewardship Council.
Lee-Anne is also an active member of the Green Party of England and Wales. They are currently on the Green Party’s Policy Development Committee and serve as deputy chair of the LGBTIQA+ Greens. Lee-Anne has successfully run LGBTIQA+ campaigns and has written and passed policy at the Green Party national conference. They stood as a candidate in their borough council elections in 2016 and are standing in their county council elections in 2017.
Lee-Anne has been creating comics and zines since December 2016. They focus on non-binary activism. You can see their comics at only-two.tumblr.com
Lee-Anne is now available for design work, public speaking and zine fairs, as well as consultation on trans and non-binary inclusion.
